Conclusion: Becoming a Disciple
What does it mean to become a disciple? A disciple is a student or a learner. And not just a student of a topic, but of a person. A Christian is a disciple of Jesus, someone who has heard and believes his story and seeks to spend the rest of their lives learning to live under his Kingship.
As we see from the pattern in Acts, the beginning of this discipleship journey is marked with Baptism and long-term participation in the local church.
