Psalms: 132,133
Moment of Silence
I have calmed and quieted my soul (Ps. 131:2a)
Request for Presence
Let us go to the sanctuary of the Lord;
let us worship at the footstool of his throne. (Ps. 132:7)
Our Father, who is in Heaven...
May your priests be clothed in godliness;
may your loyal servants sing for joy. (Ps. 132:9)
Express thankful praise for who God is and what he has done
Gloria Patri
Your Kingdom come, your will be done...
The Lord swore an oath to David
with a promise he will never take back:
“I will place one of your descendants
on your throne.” (Ps. 132:11)
Pray for God's kingdom to increase locally and globally
Give us this day, our daily bread...
I will bless this city and make it prosperous;
I will satisfy its poor with food. (Ps. 132:15)
Bring practical needs and anxieties to the Father
Forgive us our sins...
How wonderful and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in harmony! (Ps. 133:1)
Spend a moment in quiet confession and pray for healing of relational conflict
And lead us not into temptation...
If your descendants obey the terms of my covenant
and the laws that I teach them,
then your royal line
will continue forever and ever.” (Ps. 132:12)
Request the Spirit's wisdom and protection to walk in God's ways
Closing Benediction
The Lord has pronounced his blessing,
even life everlasting. (Ps. 133:3b)
