Psalms: 66,30
Moment of Silence
I have calmed and quieted my soul (Ps. 131:2a)
Request for Presence
Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones!
Praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime!
Weeping may last through the night,
but joy comes with the morning. (Ps. 30:4-5)
Our Father, who is in Heaven...
Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!
Sing about the glory of his name!
Tell the world how glorious he is. (Ps. 66:1-2)
Express thankful praise for who God is and what he has done
Gloria Patri
Your Kingdom come, your will be done...
For by his great power he rules forever.
He watches every movement of the nations;
let no rebel rise in defiance. (Ps. 66:7)
Pray for God's kingdom to increase locally and globally
Give us this day, our daily bread...
We went through fire and flood,
but you brought us to a place of great abundance. (Ps. 66:12b)
Bring practical needs and anxieties to the Father
Forgive us our sins...
If I had not confessed the sin in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened.
Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer
or withdraw his unfailing love from me. (Ps. 66:18,20)
Spend a moment in quiet confession and pray for healing of relational conflict
And lead us not into temptation...
Let the whole world bless our God
and loudly sing his praises.
Our lives are in his hands,
and he keeps our feet from stumbling. (Ps. 66:8-9)
Request the Spirit's wisdom and protection to walk in God's ways
Closing Benediction
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,
that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever! (Ps. 30:11-12)
